MILANO: TROPPI GLI INCIDENTI STRADALI
IL CODACONS RIVOLGE UN APPELLO AL COMUNE: UN TASK FORCE SULLA SICUREZZA
Troppi gli incidenti verificatisi in questi giorni a Milano: dallo scontro tra moto in viale Tunisia all’intera famiglia investita in Piazza Tripoli mentre attraversava le strisce pedonali.
Per questo il Codacons rivolge un appello al Comune di Milano, chiedendo una task force sulla sicurezza stradale. Le vie più a rischio, dove gli incidenti ciclicamente si ripetono, sono ormai note: le 24 vie già individuate dalla Prefettura di Milano, che autorizzò il Comune ad installare postazioni fisse di autovelox, via Canova, via S. Rita da Cascia, il cavalcavia Don L. Milani….
“Spesso basterebbe un semaforo in più, una striscia pedonale meglio collocata, per evitare incidenti” ha dichiarato il presidente del Codacons, Marco Donzelli. “A Milano è impossibile attraversare sulle strisce pedonali se non sono semaforizzate. Ecco perché il Codacons chiede da anni più semafori a chiamata in corrispondenza delle strisce pedonali. L’asfalto drenante, poi, ridurrebbe il numero degli incidenti mortali ed eviterebbe il rischio di avere strade piene di buche come groviera, buche che certo non aumentano la sicurezza” ha concluso Donzelli.
Il Codacons ricorda che l’asfalto con una granulometria maggiore non solo dura il 30% in più, ma elimina l’effetto aquaplaning ed aumenta l’aderenza dei veicoli. Sulle autostrade italiane, dove si è introdotto questo asfalto, dal 1999 ad oggi c’è stata una riduzione del tasso di mortalità del 75%.
