Con l`arrivo dell`estate si moltiplicano le truffe. Approfittando del desiderio di vacanze, che con questo caldo è particolarmente diffuso, molte persone vengono contattate telefonicamente da entusiasti telefonisti che comunicano la vincita di una bella villeggiatura in posti esotici straordinari. Niente di più bello. Ovviamente tutto è gratuito, stando alle loro promesse. Per ritirare il premio è sufficiente presentarsi ad un appuntamento, solitamente un albergo lussuoso. Una volta arrivati, obbligatoriamente con tutta la famiglia (così da poter convincerne almeno uno, impedendo inoltre al consumatore la scusa classica per prendere tempo: ne parlo con mia moglie?) ti vendono una multiproprietà.
Un`altra truffa in questo periodo è perpetrata ad esempio da una ditta di Padova che a Milano sta vendendo biancheria porta a porta. Al momento della firma del contratto, per impedire al consumatore di esercitare il sacrosanto diritto di recesso, anticipano di un mese la data di sottoscrizione (invece che 23/06/2003 scrivono 23/05/2003).
Il Codacons ricorda a tutti i consumatori che nessuno regala mai niente e rammenta che non ci si deve mai recare ad appuntamenti presso alberghi o locali per ritirare presunte vincite. Si tratta di truffe belle e buone! Se avete già firmato rivolgetevi immediatamente al Codacons o comunque esercitate subito il diritto di recesso.
Infine per chiunque sottoscrive un contratto ricordiamo di non firmare nessun modulo in bianco e di controllare sia la data, sia le clausole che vengono fatte firmare a parte, con una seconda firma. Infatti le fregature devono essere fatte firmare una seconda volta perché siano valide, così che il consumatore non possa dire di non averne preso visione. Solitamente la seconda firma viene preceduta da una frase di questo tipo: “Ai sensi e per gli effetti degli artt. 1341 e 1342 del cod. civ.“. Spesso viene scritto, ad esempio, che se uno cambia idea, non può più riavere quanto già anticipato. Attenti, dunque, a quello che firmate e non versate nessun anticipo!
