Il Codacons interviene sul blocco dei tassisti milanesi di oggi e di quelli della capitale nei giorni scorsi. E lo fa con un intervento durissimo. ?Le tariffe dei taxi delle due città sono tra le più care d’Europa ? afferma il Presidente Codacons, avv. Carlo Rienzi ? le vetture non sempre si trovano, il servizio spesso non è all’altezza del prezzo pagato dai cittadini, senza contare le truffe perpetrate agli stranieri da alcuni soggetti poco raccomandabili e svelate da inchieste giornalistiche?.
Il Codacons chiede quindi alla magistratura di avviare delle indagini in merito ai blocchi dei tassisti milanesi per accertare eventuali illeciti come blocco stradale o estorsione ai danni della città e diffida i sindaci di Milano e di Roma a concedere l’aumento delle licenze.
?Il problema infatti è proprio quello delle licenze? ? continua Carlo Rienzi. ?Aumentare le licenze significa aumentare la concorrenza abbattendo i prezzi a vantaggio dei cittadini che utilizzano tale servizio. Le amministrazioni comunali devono capire che la gente è stufa di tali ?ricatti,? e non devono sottostare alle pressioni dei tassisti e dei sindacati che li rappresentano?.
Se non verranno concesse le licenze, conclude il Codacons, denunceremo i sindaci delle due città e gli assessori competenti per omissioni di atti d’ufficio e concorso in estorsione.
