I dati diffusi oggi da Indis-Unioncamere, che parlano di prezzi in forte crescita nel settore alimentare, sono per il Codacons ?allarmanti? e dimostrano ?come le denunce delle associazioni dei consumatori relativamente all’aumento dei prezzi registrato da gennaio, siano più che fondate, a dispetto dei dati Istat che fotografano prezzi sotto controllo?.
Lo studio di Indis-Unioncamere ? afferma il Portavoce del Codacons, Carlo Rienzi ? è preoccupante, in quanto un aumento dei prezzi così forte per olio, riso, latticini, ortaggi e altri generi, equivale ad un vero e proprio ?massacro? ai danni delle famiglie a reddito medio/basso per le quali, come noto, le spese per l’alimentazione incidono in maniera pesante sui bilanci mensili.
Se non verranno adottati al più presto provvedimenti per contenere i prezzi ? prosegue Rienzi ? e se il trend al rialzo proseguirà, i consumatori saranno costretti a tirare sempre più la cinghia anche sull’alimentazione, e verranno costretti ad una sorta di ?dieta forzata? per arrivare a fine mese.
L’associazione propone come prima misura per abbassare i prezzi, almeno nel settore dell’ortofrutta, l’istituzione in tutti i Comuni d’Italia della vendita diretta produttore-consumatore, anche solo una volta a settimana, che consentirebbe alle famiglie vantaggiosi risparmi sulla spesa settimanale per frutta e verdura.
