(ANSA) – ROMA, 16 LUG – Le multinazionali del tabacco si
comportano in modo vergognoso, vendendo sigarette al mentolo per
conquistare i giovani.Lo denuncia in una nota l`associazione dei
consumatori (Codacons) spiegando che queste sigarette sono una
“trappola“, perché “vengono immesse sul mercato dalle
industrie del tabacco per “adescare“ gli adolescenti,
mascherando l`odore acre e sgradevole della nicotina attraverso
il mentolo“.
“Le multinazionali del tabacco sono cadute davvero in basso
– afferma il Codacons – il tentativo di conquistare un pubblico
giovanile attraverso espedienti come questo, dimostra la totale
indifferenza delle industrie verso la tutela della salute dei
giovani“.
“Tale politica immorale – conclude – fortifica le nostre
azioni legali contro le multinazionali delle sigarette, che
saranno chiamate a rispondere dei gravissimi danni inflitti alla
salute di centinaia di fumatori italiani“.
