In provincia di Treviso ennesima persona sbranata da pitbull e rotweiler. I carabinieri sono stati costretti a sparare agli animali che si erano avventati anche su di loro. E’ l’ennesima dimostrazione di quanto sia sbagliata ed infondata la tesi del sottosegretario alla Salute, Francesca Martini, che vorrebbe eliminare le black list, come se tutti i cani fossero uguali e le liste costituissero una sorta di discriminazione razziale.
Peccato che delle 191 morsicature che si verificano ogni giorno in Italia, 70.000 in un anno, solo quelle di cani come i pitbull vanno alla ribalta della cronaca, per la semplice ragione che sono cani talmente potenti, forti e pericolosi che per fermarli persino i carabinieri sono costretti a sparargli.
Per questo il Codacons chiede al ministro Sacconi di togliere la delega alla Martini, occupandosi in prima persona di questo argomento, così come fatto da tutti i suoi predecessori: Sirchia, Storace e Turco che hanno tutti confermato la bontà delle liste.
Il Codacons chiede semmai che l’ordinanza sia potenziata con il patentino obbligatorio, ma non certo ridotta, e che poi sia fatta applicare dai vigili e dalle autorità competenti.
Ad esempio, si ricorda che è vietato possedere cani come i pitbull ai delinquenti abituali, a chiunque abbia riportato condanna, anche non definitiva, per delitto non colposo contro la persona o contro il patrimonio. Inoltre, considerato che i cani di oggi avevano già morsicato un anno fa, si ricorda che i servizi veterinari non solo devono tenere aggiornato un archivio dei cani morsicatori e dei cani con aggressività non controllata rilevati, ma devono anche predisporre i necessari interventi di controllo per la tutela della incolumità pubblica.
