A quasi due mesi di distanza dal primo caso di contagio umano in Italia da morbo della ?mucca pazza?, quando il silenzio stampa è caduto sulla questione ? almeno fino al prossimo morto ? il CODACONS pubblica i dati di un sondaggio svolto sul proprio sito internet (www.codacons.it).
L’associazione ha posto 3 fondamentali quesiti ai consumatori: metteresti la mano sul fuoco sulla sicurezza delle carni? Preferisci carni italiane o argentine? Hai fiducia nelle iniziative dei Ministri Alemanno e Sirchia?
Record di contatti per un sondaggio che riguarda la tutela della salute e che abbraccia tutti i consumatori italiani. Sono stati registrati, infatti, oltre 50.000 voti, e il quadro che ne è venuto fuori è molto interessante.
Per l’83% dei consumatori italiani, infatti, le carni in circolazione sono tutt’altro che sicure, nonostante le rassicurazioni delle istituzioni. Solo il 17% degli italiani ritiene di mangiare carni non a rischio.
Per quanto riguarda l’origine delle carni, il 63% dei votanti preferisce quelle argentine, proprio perché in questo paese il morbo della mucca pazza non si è mai manifestato. Il 34% invece, rimane legato alla produzione interna, e in macelleria continua a scegliere carni nostrane.
Schiacciante infine la sfiducia dei consumatori nei confronti delle istituzioni. Addirittura l’82% dei votanti esprime sfiducia nei confronti delle misure adottate dai Ministri Sirchia ed Alemanno per tutelare la salute dei consumatori.
