Susciterà scandalo questa presa di posizione? Può essere, ma è quello che pensano le persone semplici che il Codacons ha intervistato nei mercati in queste settimane, dal rapimento dei 4 italiani in Iraq
Non è vero che in Italia non si trovi un lavoro...forse più facile trovarlo nel nord est, ma si trova. Certo se si vuole trovarlo da svolgere con il kalashnikov o sparando sulla gente (poco importa se per difendere civili, compito che spetterebbe pur sempre alle forze pubbliche dell`ordine...) non è tanto facile, e allora bisogna migrare...in Iraq. Ma che difendere le imprese USA con il mitra sia un lavoro onesto ho i miei dubbi. Al di là, comunque di questa considerazione, resta il fatto che chi sceglie di andare a lavorare in un paese in guerra, e per contrastare una delle parti che combattono, sa benissimo che può rimanere vittima del conflitto. E` una scelta. Questo non vuol dire certo che l`Italia ora non debba occuparsi dei nostri concittadini sequestrati, ma deve farlo per dovere istituzionale e non per santificare, con statue e piazza, delle vittime innocenti della ingiustizia e cattiveria del mondo. E poi, è certo, non deve farlo a costi per la collettività eccessivi. Non è cinismo, non è disumanità?anzi. Ho pena delle decine di giovani americani che muoiono ogni giorno in Iraq quanto e forse un pochino in più che dei 4 rapiti italiani, forse perché quelli ce li hanno mandati a morire...questi lo hanno scelto loro. Quando abbiamo chiesto di operare a forza la povera signora siciliana con la gamba in cancrena si sono scatenati i liberisti...dicendo che aveva il diritto di scegliere di morire...ora io dico...lasciateci in pace noi e loro che hanno scelto di andare a far la guerra. E` libertà anche questa.
