Oggi sono giunte innumerevoli proteste da parte di telespettatori, prevalentemente genitori, per le immagini troppo violente del film di Martin Scorsese “Gangs of New York“. Alle 21.30, infatti, è andato in onda un autentico massacro, quello tra la banda dei Nativi e dei Conigli Morti. Sangue, sgozzamenti, decapitazioni….. Scorsese non si è fatto mancare nulla per inscenare una sequenza estremamente violenta.
Il Codacons ricorda come i bollini rossi, o le scritte che appaiono durante il film (una sola peraltro…) per segnalare che la visione è consigliata ad un pubblico adulto, non sono sufficienti, specie ad un orario come le 21,30 nel quale spesso i telespettatori fanno ancora carrellate alla ricerca di un programma.
Non si capisce perché mentre per il sesso scattano immediatamente i divieti per i minori di anni 14 e conseguentemente l`obbligo di trasmettere dopo le 22,30, non altrettanto rigore e attenzione si pone per le scene violente, altrettanto sconsigliabili per i bambini.
Il Codacons chiede a Rete 4, per le prossime messe in onda, di utilizzare un orario più consono, indipendentemente da quanto stabilito dalla legge. Altrimenti tanto vale eliminare i bollini, che diventano negativi se si trasformano in una scusante per poter trasmettere qualunque cosa.
