Tanta gente per le strade delle città nella prima domenica di saldi
iniziati oggi a Milano, Venezia, Bologna, Trento, Firenze, Perugia, Potenza, Bari e Palermo. Afflusso massiccio cui non corrisponde però un`impennata degli acquisti.
“La situazione nelle varie città evidenzia un afflusso evidente di
consumatori nelle strade dello shopping – afferma Carlo Rienzi,
Presidente
Codacons – ma i consumi non decollano e sono stabili rispetto lo
scorso anno.
Ciò sia a causa della vicinanza delle festività, che hanno comportato
spese
per le famiglie – prosegue Rienzi – sia per la paura delle uscite
monetarie
del 2007 legate alle nuove tasse imposte dalla Finanziaria, ma anche
per per
i debiti contratti ricorrendo al credito al consumo negli anni
precedenti, il
cui peso inizia a incidere in modo sostanziale sui bilanci familiari“.
“Saranno saldi flop – conclude il Presidente Codacons – e
continueranno ad
esserlo finchè non verranno liberalizzati lasciando ai commercianti
la
facoltà di decidere quando e come scontare i prodotti in vendita,
incrementando così la concorrenza e riducendo progressivamente i
prezzi“.
