(AGI) – Milano, 21 ott. – Proteste sia in ambito politico che da parte delle associazioni che rappresentano i cittadini dopo l”ennesimo incidente che ha coinvolto i tram milanesi. "Oggi – ha detto Robero Caputo, capogruppo del Partito socialista – salire su di un tram a Milano e’ diventata, come recita una canzone di Lucio Battisti, un’avventura. Si spera di uscirne sani e salvi". "Il presidente Catania – ha aggiunto Caputo – non puo’ far finta di nulla. Se non sente il bisogno di dare un segnale forte con le sue dimissioni, almeno intervenga in maniera drastica". Anche i toni del vicepresidente della Provincia Alberto Mattioli sono duri: "Non vorrei essere catastrofista – ha detto Mattioli – ma e’ emergenza sicurezza per i mezzi pubblici a Milano". Il vicepresidente della Provincia chiede che si eserciti un controllo severo sugli autisti "perche’ chi guida un mezzo pubblico ha la responsabilita’ della vita dei passeggeri". Rincara la dose Franco Mirabelli, consigliere Pd in Regione: "I tagli operati da ATM – ha detto Mirabelli – da una parte non garantiscono manutenzioni sufficienti, dall’altra costringono i lavoratori a condizioni di lavoro sempre meno accettabili". Ma le reazioni non arrivano solo dal centrosinistra: "Sul trasporto locale – ha detto Paolo Valentini, capogruppo di Forza Italia in Consiglio regionale – una regione come la Lombardia e un capoluogo come Milano non possono ricevere solo briciole. Il trasporto pubblico locale dev’essere rifinanziato dal Governo centrale, solo a queste condizioni e’ possibile ridare slancio al sistema della mobilita’ lombarda". Sull’incidente e’ intervenuto anche il Codacons, con la richiesta alla Procura di indagare per attentato alla sicurezza dei trasporti "non in relazione a questo singolo incidente ma alla situazione disastrosa in cui versa la rete dei trasporti pubblici milanese". Codacons chiede al sindaco Letizia Moratti la rimozione del presidente di Atm Elio Catania.
