Chi non conosce ?Ettore?, il cane dal dialetto napoletano protagonista degli spot Tim? Proprio lui è al centro di una vicenda che potrebbe danneggiare non solo i suoi proprietari (che si sono rivolti al Codacons) e la sua immagine, ma addirittura tutti i consumatori.
L’invidiatissimo ?dogue de Bordeaux? (questa la razza del cane), comparso al fianco di donne come Sophia Loren e Naomi Campbell negli spot della società telefonica, potrebbe correre il rischio di essere sostituito, per motivi ancora oscuri, da un sosia, che ne prenderebbe segretamente il posto, continuando a mantenere la voce che oramai lo ha reso famoso e il simpatico ruolo che lo ha fatto entrare nelle case degli italiani. Rischio che in parte si è già concretizzato, con il ?sosia? che, al posto del vero Ettore, ha ritirato il premio di un concorso che ha premiato la miglior pubblicità.
Inizialmente infatti Ettore era stato affidato dai proprietari al famoso addestratore Perla. Successivamente però i padroni del famoso dogue de Bordeaux decidono di interrompere i rapporti con Perla, continuando tuttavia a mettere il cane a disposizione della Tim per effettuare tutte le riprese dei vari spot. Al momento delle nuove registrazioni però compare sul set, accompagnato dal Perla, un altro dogue de Bordeaux, assai simile, se non identico, al vero Ettore. A suon di diffide ed interventi legali i padroni di Ettore riescono ad impedire che il nuovo cane comparisse in video o negli ultimi cartelloni pubblicitari, essendo Ettore, e solo lui, il protagonista della campagna pubblicitaria della Tim. Il rischio però è che per motivi poco chiari il vero Ettore venga sostituito da un altro cane spacciato per lo stesso dogue de Bordeaux che finora ha divertito gli italiani all’interno degli spot Tim.
Una circostanza che ? sostiene il Codacons ? risulterebbe lesiva degli interessi degli utenti italiani. ?Senza entrare nel merito dei rapporti tra i proprietari e il Perla, non si può pensare di poter prendere in giro gli italiani sostituendo all’improvviso un cane protagonista di uno spot di successo con un altro, seppur simile sul piano visivo, continuando a far credere ai telespettatori che si tratti dello stesso cane ? sostiene il Presidente Codacons Avv.
