Una “task force“, gia` operativa e pronta ad intervenire, a difesa del turista che subisce danni a causa di promesse non mantenute, depliant ingannevoli, ritardi di aerei, treni e traghetti, smarrimento di bagagli, scarsa igiene negli alberghi, annullamento di prenotazioni, overbooking per i voli aerei, prezzi alti ed altri problemi legati al mancato rispetto del contratto e alla scarsa qualita` dei servizi forniti. A promuoverla e` Francesco Tanasi, segretario nazionale del Codacons, il Coordinamento delle associazioni per la difesa dell`ambiente e dei diritti degli utenti e consumatori. “Si tratta – spiega Tanasi – di una forza formata da un insieme di avvocati ed esperti che definiscono le linee operative delle azioni a tutela dei turisti, con lo scopo di offrire un servizio organico e completo a quanti subiscono danni, nonche` la massima efficienza nelle risposte alle numerosissime richieste di intervento e nelle azioni di tutela dei consumatori“. Un gruppo di tecnici affiancati da tecnici in grado di fornire risposte e coordinare azioni legali sara` dunque a disposizione di quanti segnaleranno inadempienze. Istituito, e anche in questo caso gia` attivo, anche un “telefono rosso“ attraverso il quale i turisti potranno far arrivare le loro segnalazioni dei turisti: il numero da digitare e` l`892007. Numerose le lamentele gia` pervenute, soprattutto per il settore aereo ed alberghiero, che hanno originato i primi interventi della task force.
