Di nuovo il Codacons contro il Wrestling per lo spettacolo previsto per il 30 giugno al Centrale del tennis a Roma.
L’associazione critica fortemente la scelta del Coni di concedere la struttura del Foro italico per un evento violento, diseducativo, e contrario ai principi di cui il Coni stesso si fa portatore.
Critiche che sono sfociate in un atto di diffida, ai sensi della legge 281/98, con cui si chiede al Coni la revoca immediata della concessione per l’utilizzo del Centrale del tennis per lo spettacolo del 30 giugno, e in un esposto alla Procura della Repubblica di Roma finalizzato ad accertare un eventuale abuso di atti d’ufficio a carico dell’ente.
Il Wrestling ? afferma il Codacons – per sua stessa natura rientra certamente tra gli sport ad elevato livello di violenza (effettiva o fittizia che sia); la tipologia di spettacolo offerto rischia di produrre un pericoloso effetto ?emulativo?, in special modo tra gli spettatori più giovani ed influenzabili. Effetti emulativi che, come raccontano le cronache, si ripetono in continuazione.
Inoltre ? prosegue l’associazione – ai sensi del Decreto Legislativo dell`8 gennaio 2004, n. 15, deliberato dal Consiglio Nazionale del CONI, è previsto che il CONI ?promuova le opportune iniziative contro ogni forma di violenza? e ?detti i principi per conciliare la dimensione economica dello sport con la sua inalienabile dimensione popolare, sociale, educativa e culturale?.
Principi positivi che cozzano in maniera palese con la violenza rappresentata dal Wrestling. Motivo più che sufficiente per cui il Coni deve revocare la concessione delle proprie strutture per lo spettacolo del prossimo 30 giugno.
